Fraudsters are exploiting fears around the Coronavirus pandemic and the government is urging us all to be extra vigilant and wary of scammers. We recommend looking at the Take Five website for advice on how to spot and avoid these scams.
Scams include fake online shops, phishing and malware emails, some of which purport to be from trusted organisations such as the World Health Organisation (WHO).
The National Cyber Security Centre say we need to be highly suspicious – if the offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. Importantly, don’t click on any links or download anything unless you are certain who the sender is.
